History of Believers New Life Ministries
Pastor Ted Williams was sent by God, from Silsbee, Texas, to shepherd over a flock at Call Community Center C.O.G.I.C. in Call, Texas. Through seeking God’s face for guidance to teach his people, He began to receive revelation knowledge about God’s word. While praying and meditating this new found knowledge, Pastor Williams received the mandate from God to preach and teach the revealed word boldly and uncompromisingly. Knowing he would encounter opposition, because of the traditional and denominational mindsets of the people, Pastor Williams was hesitant to make the transition in his ministry method. But after much prayer and deliberation, He took the step of faith and began teaching the Word of Faith with revelation.
Consequently, with the change came much persecution. The word of faith was not readily accepted by the church congregation, because it was perceived as being new and different from the traditional and customary church doctrine. Despite the resistance, Pastor Williams continued to teach the word of faith.
On February 16, 2001, God spoke to Pastor Williams and instructed him to write a letter of resignation to Call Community Center C.O.G.I.C. It was decided that He could have his last service at Call Community Center on Sunday, February 18. This day had previously been proclaimed as a supernatural day, and indeed it was. There was a morning service at 9:30 am and an evening service at 6:00 p.m. As the congregation gathered for the services, the anointing was thick and the power of God was present. People from the surrounding areas came and were delivered, healed and set free.
Determined to follow God’s mandate for his life, Pastor Williams pursued the vision of establishing a Word of Faith ministry. As a result, on February 20, 2001 Believers New Life Ministries Church International was established with approximately 40 members at its current location on Hwy 96, N in Kirbyville, TX where we are Growing People Every day!
